The public is invited to a free reception with refreshments, 5 – 8 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 2. The exhibition runs through Friday, Oct. 15.
College officials have reduced the price from $2 to $1, starting Aug. 23. The service runs through Wednesday, Dec. 15.
Oakton is the recipient of the 2010 Central Region Equity Award from the Association of Community College Trustees (ACCT).

Three years after the death of Josie's mother, no one expects her to telephone from a bus station in North Dakota - just to ask how the dog is doing. Josie comes face to face with herself in a touching comedy that travels over the bumpy road to self-acceptance.
Roles:
Seeking men and women of all ages and ethnicities. Please prepare a contemporary comedic monologue (1-2 minutes in length) and be prepared to read from the script.
