Services

Public Safety Officers at Oakton Community College work hard to keep you safe and to promote a peaceful environment on both of the College's campuses. Our officers offer a broad range of services, from patrolling the campus to walking you to your car after dark. To report an emergency on campus, call 1888.

For example:

Campus patrol. Police officers patrol both campuses day and night by foot, bicycle, car and Segway.

Car assistance. Car won't start? Or are you locked out? We can help.

Parking lot escorts. If you're uncomfortable walking alone to your car after dark, a police officer will walk you to the parking lot.

Criminal and accident investigation. Public Safety Officers have full powers to investigate criminal complaints and accidents.

Emergency services. The Department of Public Safety is equipped with defibrillator equipment and other first-aid supplies.

For more information about Campus Police services at Oakton, please contact the Department of Public Safety.
