Fire Science Technology (FIR)

The Fire Science Technology program is designed to prepare students for careers in fire services and related occupations.  Firefighters find the program to be very helpful in upgrading their skills, and increasing knowledge towards becoming certified by the Office of the State Fire Marshal as Fire Officer I and II.  In addition, the curriculum meets the need of employed individuals desiring further knowledge in special areas of fire science.
