Machine Technology (Apprenticeship) (MTA)

The Machine Technology (Apprenticeship) curriculum is designed to fulfill the requirements of the U.S. Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training for related instruction in the highly skilled machine trades.

The curriculum has been designed to award a certificate to those students completing the on-the-job training plus related instruction. An Associate in Applied Science degree is awarded to those students who continue in one of the specialized options, Tool and Die Maker or Mold Maker, and who also fulfill the general education requirements for a degree.

Prerequisite:
High school graduation or GED
