Other Informaiton:
I have been a counselor and professor of Psychology at Oakton since
1978, helping
advise students academically and personally. As a Licensed Clinical
Psychologist, I
have worked with many students about a variety of personal concerns
to help them get
through tough times at school, at home or in relationships. I am
the Honors Counselor
and love to recruit students to this very rewarding program with
exciting classes.
I teach special Psychology of Personal Growth classes (Psy 107
and 108) for women. I
work closely with my students, mentoring as well as teaching; and
working together in a
group process style. I also teach Yoga (Ped 131)- a wonderful way
to help anxious
students and faculty deal with the stresses of academia-while developing
strength,
flexibility and balance.
