Teaching Philosophy:

I believe that teaching is more than just one person talking and everyone else listening. Learning occurs in many different ways. In my classes, I try to find different ways to present the material in order to increase understanding and learning. My goal is to be flexible and fair, while maintaining high standards. You may work hard, but I’ll try my best to make learning fun and accessible. I see college classes as an agreement between me and students. Your task is to attend class, participate, and work hard, and mine is to present the material in an accessible yet accurate way, be available for questions and assistance, and help you see how psychology plays a part in your life.
