Teaching Philosophy:

I believe learning is most effective when integrated with the everyday experiences of students. Therefore, I strive to actively assist students in making meaningful connections between the content of the course and daily life. When this happens, the concepts become "real" to the students and they are better able to retain and use the information they have learned. I use varied instructional methods and technology to make the course accessible and the learning experience enjoyable.
