In 1984 we (McNeilly Studio) purchased our first graphics computer system. We were pioneers in this field and there were no classes in colleges at that time. So, we formed user groups to teach each other how to draw and use the equipment. During this period, I also produced and edited a quarterly newsletter which gathered articles from around the country which taught how to use our computer graphics system. This newsletter was distributed throughout the United States and 5 foreign countries. I am proud of this early contribution to the Computer Graphics Industry. Oakton and my many mentors have helped me keep current in this field. |
