Oakton Ranked 4th at the AMATYC Midwest Region.

The AMATYC Math Competitions are held twice in the spring and fall each academic year. In the midwest region, which includes Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan and Wisconsin, 21 community colleges participated in the competition. In the fall 2003, Oakton ranked 5^th in the region, and 4^th in the spring 2004. In the year of 2003-2004, Oakton ranked 4^th in the midwest region.
