Oakton Ranked 3rd at the AMATYC Spring 2005 Competition. The AMATYC Math Competitions are held twice in the spring and fall each academic year. In the Midwest region, which includes Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan and Wisconsin, 25 community colleges participated in the competition. In Spring 2005, Oakton ranked 3rd in the region.
