  Manufacturing – a conveyor moving products, each with a different tagging requirement, passes a stationary antenna that collects the data from the tag mounted permanently to the products

 

Inventory/Warehouse Management – boxes with slap and ship labels on a racking unit with metal-mounted permanent labels has a handheld device creating pick/put orders and confirming the package and location

 

Asset Tracking – plastic totes are tracked, cataloged and inspected via an outdoor durable tag

 

Security and Personnel Tracking Systems – a badged person triggers a notification event when trying to pass through a doorway carrying items that he is unauthorized to leave with
