Construction Management

Construction Management

Oakton's construction management courses prepare students for entry-level jobs in the emerging field of construction management. In addition, the program enables individuals employed in the construction and architectural industries to upgrade their skills and provides professional development training for those working in associated fields, including heating and air conditioning, drafting, facilities operation, and the building trades.

The program focuses primarily on those skills utilized in the field on a construction site, along with related office procedures. However, many employers express a preference for entry-level individuals with some prior experience.
