Medical Coding Certificate day and evening program.
**This is a limited enrollment program offered only in Des Plaines**
This 29 credit program prepares students for detailed medical coding using ICD-10-CM/PCS and CPT coding systems. This program prepares students to work in hospital based facilities but there are also job opportunities in physicians' offices and insurance companies. This curriculum follows AHIMA's curriculum recommendations for the CCA (Certified Coding Associate) certification exam. All courses can be applied to the Associate Degree program.
This certificate requires you follow a specific course sequence.

Medical Billing Certificate day and evening program.
This 16 credit program prepares students for billing positions using ICD-10-CM and CPT coding. This program is physician office based and job opportunities are available in physician offices and billing offices.
This certificate requires you follow a specific course sequence.
