II.    Prerequisite

PED 122 or consent of instructor.

III.   Course (Catalog) Description

Activity course gives instruction in the fundamental skills, rules, and strategy of the game. Game playing is emphasized.

IV.   Learning Objectives

  1. Demonstrate a whole body stretch of the calves, quads, bicep/triceps, neck and back  which allow safe participation in baseball.
  2. Perform team offensive plays as well as expand on basic fundamental skills from PED 122.
  3. Perform team defensive plays, double plays, and covering bases techniques in baseball.

V.    Academic Integrity and Student Conduct
