With more than 1,000 course offerings and events each term, Oakton Community College's Alliance for Lifelong Learning enables adult learners to further their education in the arts, communication, computers, Continuing Education for Healthcare Professionals, ESL, GED, job development, literacy, politics, real estate, and more.  From non-credit career enhancement to creative arts to personal enrichment courses, Oakton's Alliance for Lifelong Learning has something for everyone.

Students 17 or older wanting GED test preparation classes in April must attend two evenings of placement testing, counseling, and registration in March. Offered in Evanston and Skokie.
Volunteer to help adults learn to read or speak English. Learn about methods and materials especially suited to tutoring adult American or immigrant students. Call 847.635.1426 for information.
