Which Term? When registering online, you need to know which term your class is in. Here is how to tell: Fall classes have a -0 in the course code (e.g., ART C79-04). Summer classes have a -3 in the course code (e.g., ART C79-31). In addition, Fall CRN numbers begin with 6, (e.g., CRN 62081). Summer CRN numbers begin with 5 (e.g., CRN 50543). Please do not put two terms on the same registration form! e.g: Spring and Summer.
Textbooks are required for most language classes. Prices vary from $25-$80 and are not included in the tuition price.
Chinese
CHINESE I FEE: $154
With the world shrinking and with China growing every day as an economic and political power, learning Chinese has become increasingly important. In this introduction to the study of modern Mandarin Chinese, students will develop basic competence in speaking, listening, reading and writing. Emphasis will be on daily conversation. Chinese culture also will be explored. Textbook fee of $27 is payable to the instructor at the first class session. No class 2/17.
