I
have been a professor and the Chair of the Electronic and
Computer Technology program at Oakton since 2002. During
my time at Oakton, I have taught classes in Engineering,
Electronics, and Computer Technology, and I have recently
started a new program in RFID (Radio Frequency Identification
Technology). Before that I was a professor of Electrical
and Electronics Engineering at Parkland College in Champaign,
IL for 12 years, and I have also consulted as an engineer
for many Fortune 500 companies. I hold a bachelor's degree
in electronic engineering technology from Oregon Institute
of Technology, and a master's degree in electrical and computer
engineering from Oregon State University. In addition, I
have done post-graduate work in University of Illinois at
Urbana-Champaign. I enjoy most sports, and enjoy doing outdoor
activities in my spare time.
