I did my undergraduate work at Wilmington College in Ohio majoring in Biology and Psychology. I did my graduate work at the University of Nebraska at Omaha in Biology (Concentrating in Anatomy and Physiology, Organismal Biology, and Histology. Since attending Graduate school I have spent 10 years conducting research on brain tumor biology. In addition, I have worked as a bench tech and supervisor of clinical and research histology laboratories for twenty years. Recently I have taught at the college level 12 years as an adjunct part-time instructor of Biology (various schools)and currently over the past 3 years as a full-time associate professor in Biology at Oakton.
