WHAT IS Student Support Services?
Student Support Services (SSS TRiO) is a program funded by the U.S.
Department of Education and is part of a network of over 2,600
TRiO programs
serving nearly 866,000 students throughout the country. The
mission of SSS TRiO at Oakton Community College is to help students
be successful in college. SSS TRiO helps students manage the
demands of college life by providing a support system of caring
professionals. We have services such
as tutoring, academic advising, strategy-enhancing workshops, and
transfer assistance to help students reach their goals.
