THE 15TH ANNUAL

MEN’S DAY

Saturday, November 17, 2007
8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Des Plaines Campus

A Note to Women:
Although this program is designed for men, women are welcome. In keeping with the spirit of the day, please bring a man with you—husband, father, son, friend, brother, relative, or any other significant male in your life. Please note that due to their sensitive nature some programs may be intended for men only.

For Oakton Students: Scholarships to attend Men’s Day are available. Interested students are encouraged to contact Bea Cornelissen, Office of College Advancement (Room 1144, Des Plaines campus), 847-635-1812 to apply for a Men’s Day Scholarship.

Caring About Boys

Spend a day exploring, discussing, and evaluating issues that affect your life as a man. While a variety of topics will be covered during the day, the keynote address and several workshops will focus on the mixed messages boys receive from society, what they mean, and how we can develop practices to raise healthier sons. Please join us.
