MEN AND SHAMANISM: DANCING ON THE EDGE OF THE SWORD
Gregory Baldauf, Don Flerlage, Paul Johnson, Bill Janssens, and George Murphy.
This program explores the world of Inka shamanism. Power in the Inka Tradition is Tuki Muyna Neo, “the power of unconditional love.” Our discussion focuses on the Andian Pachas and the archetype of the Jaguaur, Otorongo. We also journey into the metaphor of the Luminous Warrior—the warrior who has no enemy in this world or any other.

GROWING UP WITH ANGER
Jack Dohr.
Many factors introduce the emotion of anger into our lives, and each person has the ability to deal with it either constructively or destructively. The presenter has seen many examples of this phenomenon in six years of working with incarcerated youth (ages 14-18). This workshop concentrates on constructive methods of dealing with anger.

FALLING FREE: A JOURNEY OF TRANSFORMATION IN POETRY AND MUSIC
Paul Kachoris and Andy Mitran.
This workshop allows each participant to undertake his own “Hero’s Journey.” Swept away by the soulful poetry of Paul Kachoris and original empathic music by Andy Mitran, the voyager is transformed from armored beast to spiritual being.

MOVING TOWARD SELF-CONFRONTATION, SELF-DIRECTION, AND SELF ACCEPTANCE
Phil Metres.
Like most explorations, the process of moving toward manhood involves planning, risk taking, mid-course corrections, and evolution through a series of clarifying experiences, disappointments, setbacks, and reevaluations. Then, we start all over again. This workshop helps expand and support each of us on our journey toward wholeness.

The S.A.N.E. MARRIAGE
Gary Shunk. Learn how to create and sustain a Safe, Alive, Nurturing, and Erotic marriage.

HOLLYWOOD'S GUIDE TO BEING A MAN
Matthew Dooley.
This program explores the prescribed male role in society as depicted in film and television. These portrayals are examined for their impact upon male role development across the lifespan.

PURPOSEFUL AND PEACEFUL LIVING IN THE WISDOM YEARS
Edward Ravine and Phil Kirschbaum.
This workshop is an interactive conversation focused on what a man does to find meaning, purpose, health, and peace in the “wisdom years.” The workshop is highly experiential for men age 50 and better.

MEASURE OF A MAN: HOW TO THRIVE ACROSS THE LIFESPAN
Timothy L. Clark.
The physical, psychological, social, and emotional expectations of a man vary across the lifespan. In this session the features of successful and unsuccessful development at various stages are examined.
