Please note that due to their sensitive nature some programs may be intended for men only.

Session III
3:15 - 4:30 p.m.

AWAKENING TO THE TRUE SELF THROUGH WORKING WITH BODY THERAPY AND MEDITATION
Philip Metres.
Most men walk around in a semi-trance, not clearly focused on the way we unconsciously retain defensive and protective patterns from childhood. Many of us fail to take full responsibility for our behavior, language, and expression of feelings. Through body psychotherapy and meditation we can move away from self-defeating, dysfunctional patterns.

5RHYTHMS: MOVEMENT AS A SPIRITUAL PRACTICE
Robert Visco.
Flowing, staccato, chaos, lyrical, and stillness are the components of 5Rhythms, a simple movement practice designed to release the dancer in each of us. Often described as "Western Zen," this is a dynamic way to free the body, express the heart, clear the mind, and connect to spirit. No experience is necessary–just a willingness to open up to the mystery that is you.

DISCOVERING REAL POWER IN YOUR RELATIONSHIP
Richard Reid.
Explore concrete ways to move from myth to real power in your life.

THE SILENCED MAN
William Janssens.
How knowledgeable are you with the language of abuse? Explore the toxic vocabulary that can silence men.

HEALING SHAME BY BEFRIENDING IT
John Everingham, Andrew Fash, Alan Levin, and Irwin Aloff.
Shame becomes toxic when we try to avoid it, or shift quickly into anger, fear, or emotional shutdown. Shame loses toxicity when we allow ourselves to feel it, name it, joke about it, and finally, make friends with it. We’ll practice techniques for doing just that, providing maximum safeguards in this intensely personal workshop. (MEN ONLY, PLEASE)

BUILD THE LIFE YOU HAVE ALWAYS DREAMED OF
Corey Coscioni.
Learn how to build momentum toward your dream life through daily goals and assignments that are designed to bring all areas of your life into greater productivity and harmony. By choosing challenging, yet reachable goals that build on your strengths, you can realize your vision for personal improvement, job advancement, and better relationships.

THE BHAG WAY OF LIVING
Mike Zwell.
According to Jim Collins, author of Good to Great, successful corporations have Big Hairy Audacious Goals (BHAGs) that help drive their culture and performance. Men also can use BHAGs based on career, relationships, health, etc., to transform their lives and achieve the hopes and dreams that may seem beyond reach.

THE MEASURE OF A MAN OVER TIME
Timothy Clark.
The ability to thrive across the life span varies as we age. Failure to recognize and adapt to changing physical, psychological, social, and emotional expectations can result in symptoms such as anxiety, depression, addiction, and marital discord. In this session we will examine both the successful and unsuccessful features of development at various stages.

DEFLATION; HUMILITY; WISDOM – EMBRACING ATHENA S MIND
Paul Kachoris.
With the "fortunate failures" of life men can go beyond the Hero, claim Athena, the Greek goddess of Wisdom, and move toward their Greater Self. This workshop will explore the mind of man and its maturing process.

CERAMICS AS A SOURCE OF GROWTH AND PLAY
Lou Pierozzi.
As men we sometimes forget to develop healthy outlets for creativity and play. Come to this experiential workshop to imagine and create with clay. (Continued from Session II. Participants are encouraged to attend both sessions, but are welcome to attend only one.)
