The Creation of South Pacific (MUS S45-03)
examines the success of the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical based
on a Pulitzer Prize-winning book by James A. Michener. Course meets
7 – 8:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 21. Course fee is $20.
CSI – The Real Thing (SCI E41-01) is for those
who have wondered how real crime scene investigations are conducted.
Actual cases will be discussed by a Chicago homicide and sex crimes
detective. Class involves graphic discussions and adult themes. Two-week
course meets 7 – 9 p.m., Wednesday, starting Oct. 22. Course
fee is $39.
Pastry I (HEC C24-01) provides techniques for creating
custards, cream puffs, and other fabulous desserts. Course is taught
by a graduate of the French Pastry School. Four-week class meets 7
– 9 p.m., Thursday, starting Oct. 23. Course fee is $90.
Upgrade and Repair Your PC (DPR A89-01) covers basic
computer troubleshooting. Course includes an overview of computer
components, including motherboards and hard disk drives. Three-week
course meets 6 – 9 p.m., Thursday, starting Oct. 23. Course
fee is $150.
