Up Your Business Manners: It Pays (COM S61-01) demonstrates
how to sharpen your professional image to enhance your success. One-week
session meets 9 a.m. - 12 p.m., Saturday, April 1 at Oakton's Ray
Hartstein Campus, 7701 N. Lincoln Ave., Skokie. Course fee is $50.
Introduction to MS Word (DPR A83-03) teaches how
to create, edit, print and enhance documents with different fonts,
graphics, and formatting techniques. Five-week course meets 11:30
a.m. - 2:30 p.m., Saturdays, starting April 1, at Oakton's Des Plaines
campus, 1600 E. Golf Road. Course fee is $160.
Electric
Cars: The Future Is Now (TEC S26-01) provides the pros and
cons of owning an electric car. Two-week class meets 7 - 9:30 p.m.,
Tuesdays, starting April 4, at Niles West High School, 5701 Oakton
St., Skokie. Course fee is $50.
Windows Applications (Windows XP) (DPR A23-04) covers
basic Windows XP functions including managing files and customizing
your desktop; creating, renaming, and deleting folders; and creating
shortcuts to programs and files. Five-week course meets 1 - 4 p.m.,
Saturdays, starting April 8, at Oakton's Ray Hartstein Campus. Course
fee is $160.
Access (DPR A71-02) shows the basics of this popular
database program including how to customize forms and reports. Five-week
class meets 12 - 3 p.m., Sundays, starting April 9, at Oakton's Des
Plaines campus. Course fee is $160.
