for Lifelong Learning courses meet at Oakton's Des Plaines campus,

Networking
Essentials (CPT A41-01) assists students with the Computing Technology
Industry Association (CompTIA) Network certification exam, and introduces
students to the concepts of electronic data communications systems.
Sixteen-week course meets 10 - 11:50 a.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays,
starting Jan. 18. Course fee is $226.
Introduction to Networking (INT A01-01) prepares students for
one of the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification
exams. Eight-week class meets 6 - 10 p.m., Tuesdays, starting Jan.
18. Course fee is $288.
Windows
Desktop Operating Systems (CPT A36-01) assists students in preparing
for one of the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certification
exams. Course familiarizes students with Microsoft Windows Desktop
Operating System software. Eight-week course meets 6 - 9:50 p.m.,
Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting Jan. 18. Course fee is $226.
Database
Applications for PCs (CPT A12-01) looks forward to one of the
Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification exams. Sixteen-week
course focuses on database structure and design. Class meets 6 - 9:50
p.m., Wednesdays, starting Jan. 19. Course fee is $226.
Other
professional certification exam preparation courses include: Principles
of Internet Routing (INT A02-01), Network Interfacing Techniques
(INT A04-01), Windows Server Operating System (CPT A37-01),
and Electronic Spreadsheeting for PCs (CPT A11-01).
