for Lifelong Learning (ALL) at Oakton Community College.
Office
Applications (DPR A82-01) covers the basics of Microsoft Word,
PowerPoint, and Excel. The four-week class meets 11 a.m. - 2:45 p.m.,
starting Sunday, Aug. 29, at the Des Plaines campus, 1600 E. Golf
Road. Course fee is $150.
Access
(DPR A71-01) provides an introduction to relational databases. The
five-week class meets 2 - 5 p.m., starting Friday, Sept. 3, at the
Ray Hartstein Campus, 7701 N. Lincoln Ave., Skokie. Course fee is
$150.
PowerPoint
(DPR A70-01) teaches students how to create on-screen presentations
with animation and other effects. The five-week class meets 11 a.m.
- 2 p.m., starting Saturday, Sept. 18, at the Des Plaines campus.
Course fee is $150.
Upgrade
and Repair Your Own PC (DPR A89-01) gives students the necessary
skills to install memory and diagnose and solve a variety of problems.
The course only meets 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 19, at the Des
Plaines campus. Course fee is $130.
Other
available classes include: Windows Applications (DPR A23-01),
Basic Windows (DPR A22-01), Introduction to PC and Windows
Applications (DPR A51-01), Introduction to MS Excel (DPR
A84-01), Windows/Word Applications (DPR A86-01), Intermediate
Word (DPR A80-01), and Intermediate MS Excel (DPR A85-01).
Students
who have registered for continuing education classes within the last
five years, or for a credit course in the last three years, may register
