Computer Courses Begin in October

Finish the year with a new skill by enrolling in a computer course offered by Oakton's Alliance for Lifelong Learning.

Office Applications (DPR A82) is a hands-on course for students with a working knowledge of Windows. Learn some of the applications of other Microsoft software including Excel 2000, Word and PowerPoint. Two, four-week sections begin soon.
DPR A82-03 (Touch-Tone 04962)
noon-3:45 p.m., Sundays, beginning Oct. 21
Des Plaines campus
Course fee: $200
DPR A82-04 (Touch-Tone 04963)
1:30-5:15 p.m., Mondays, beginning Nov. 19
Ray Hartstein Campus
Course fee: $200

Computer Graphic Design (DPR A43-02, Touch-Tone 03298) introduces the basics of layout and graphic design. Five-week class.
1:45-4:45 p.m., Sundays, beginning Oct. 28
Des Plaines campus
Course fee: $200

Those who have registered for Oakton or ALL classes within the last five years and have a Social Security number on file may register by using the Touch-Tone system at (847) 635-1616. Registrations are also accepted by fax at (847) 635-1448 and in person in Room 1420 at the Des Plaines campus, 1600 E. Golf Rd., and Room A120 at the Ray Hartstein Campus, 7701 N. Lincoln Ave., Skokie. Touch-Tone and fax registrations require payment using a major credit card (Visa, MasterCard or Discover).
