Registration Continues for 'ALL' Computer Courses


Registration continues for a variety of noncredit computer courses in basic skills, Web design, and software application offered by Oakton's Alliance for Lifelong Learning (ALL).

Students who register for two or more on-campus computer classes this fall will receive a 10 percent discount.

Excel (DPR A84) is an introduction to the popular spreadsheet software used by many businesses and organizations. In Access (DPR A71), students acquire proficiency in the database widely used for storing and organizing information. Microsoft FrontPage (DPR A94) introduces the basics of Web site design.

Other courses eligible for discount include PowerPoint (DPR A70), Upgrade and Repair Your Own PC (DRP A89), Computer Graphic Design (DPR A43), Microsoft Publisher (DPR A46), and Dreamweaver (DPR A37).

To receive the 10 percent discount, students must register in person, by mail, or by fax at (847) 635-1448; discounts cannot be applied to Touch-Tone registrations. For more information, including course prerequisites, times, and locations, call (847) 982-9888, press 3.
