Oakton Computer Courses Now a Better Value

Register now for on-campus computer classes offered by the Alliance for Lifelong Learning (ALL) at Oakton Community College. All noncredit computer classes are reduced 25 percent, and are available at both the Des Plaines and Ray Hartstein campuses.

Students in PowerPoint (DPR A70) learn to create on-screen presentations using PowerPoint 2000. Introduction to MS Excel (DPR A84) and Intermediate MS Excel (DPR A85) both unravel secrets to the popular spreadsheet software used by many businesses and organizations. Upgrade and Repair Your Own PC (DPR A89) gives students the necessary skills to install memory and solve a variety of problems using software diagnostic tools.

Other value-priced courses include Basic Windows (DPR A22), Introduction to MS Word (DPR A83), Office Applications (DPR A82), Access (DPR A71) and Intermediate Access (DPRA98), Design Web Pages (DPR A78), and Dreamweaver (DPR A37).

Students who have registered for ALL classes within the last five years, or for a credit course in the last three years, may register by using the Touch-Tone system at (847) 635-1616 or by fax at (847) 635-1448. Both methods require payment using a major credit card (Visa, MasterCard, or Discover). For a complete schedule of ALL classes, including information about registration and fees, visit www.oakton.edu/cont_ed or call (847) 982-9888, press 3.
