Short
Story Workshop (COM E69-01) focuses on fiction writing skills
and a greater appreciation for the short story form. Six-week course
meets 7 - 9:15 p.m., Mondays, starting Feb. 6, at Niles North High

EBay
101 (BUB E32-01) shows how to open an account and get started
as an eBay seller. One CEU credit is available. Two-week course meets
6:30 - 8:45 p.m., Tuesdays, starting Feb. 7, at Glenbrook South High
School, 4000 W. Lake Ave., Glenview. Course fee is $59.
How
to Fund College Without Going Broke (FIN E19-01) explains
the process of securing financial aid, and how to avoid common mistakes
that can cost thousands of dollars in aid. Session meets 6:30 - 8:30
p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 7, at Glenbrook South. Course fee is $39.
The
Hidden Costs and Potential Horrors of Home Buying (REL E19-01)
unravels the maze of secret costs and potential traps that prove costly
to homebuyers. Two-week course meets 7 - 10 p.m., Wednesdays, starting
Feb. 8, at Niles North High School. Course fee is $49.
Mediterranean
Cooking Made Simple (HEC S71-01) shows how to create Mediterranean
dishes from scratch. Four-week course meets 7 - 9 p.m., Thursdays,
starting Feb. 9, at Maine East High School, 2601 Dempster St., Park
Ridge. Course fee is $85.
