Additions (TEC S31-01) provides technical guidance for any home
addition project. This five-week course meets 7 - 9 p.m., starting
Tuesday, Sept. 28 at Glenbrook South High School, 4000 Lake. Ave.,
Glenview. Course fee is $75.

Buyer's Guide to Home Construction (TEC S21-01) explains in layman's
terms how to avoid costly home inspection fees and repair bills when
purchasing a new home, just by asking the right questions. This six-week
course meets 7 - 9 p.m., starting Wednesday, Sept. 29, at Maine West
High School, 1755 S. Wolf Road, Des Plaines. Course fee is $75.

Steps to Buying Your First Home (REL S01-01) identifies traps
to avoid and offers tips to save thousands of dollars during the home-buying
process. The one-week course meets 7 - 9 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 6,
at Maine West. Course fee is $19.
Simple
Ways to Greatly Increase the Value of Your Real Estate (REL S03-01)
demonstrates simple and inexpensive ways to add significant value
to your property. The one-week seminar meets 7 - 9 p.m., Tuesday,
Oct. 12, at Glenbrook South. Course fee is $19.
