Oakton Discounts Alliance Computer Courses

Register for two or more computer classes offered on campus by Oakton's Alliance for Lifelong Learning (ALL) and receive a 10 percent discount. This special offer includes 20 noncredit courses in basic skills, Web design, and software applications.

Access (DPR A71) introduces the popular database program for storing and organizing information. Computer Graphic Design (DPR A43) covers the basics of layout and design to create customized greeting cards, newsletters, and other projects. Intermediate Excel (DPR A85) reviews the basic functions of Excel 2000 and progresses to more advanced operations.

Other computer courses eligible for discount are Orientation to Computers (DPR E70), Windows Applications (DPR A23), PowerPoint (DPR A70), Dreamweaver (DPR A37), and Advanced Web Page Design - Animation (DPR A87).

The spring 2003 term begins Jan. 13. To receive the discount, students must register in-person, by mail, or by fax at 847-635-1448; discounts cannot be applied to Touch-Tone registrations.
