are available at Evanston Township High School, 1600 Dodge Ave., Evanston,
offered by the Alliance for Lifelong Learning at Oakton Community
College.
Displaying and Sharing Your Digital Photos (ART B25-01)
provides tips on how to creatively and economically present your digital
photos. Course meets 7 – 9:30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 6. Course fee
is $19.
Power Foods: Fuel for a Healthy Lifestyle (HEC E08-01)
reveals foods that are believed to fight cancer, reduce the risk of
heart disease, strengthen vision, and boost immunity. Session meets
6:30 – 8 p.m., Monday, Oct. 6. Course fee is $20.
Italian I (ITL B01-01) teaches basic Italian vocabulary
and grammar. Eight-week course meets 6 – 8:30 p.m., Monday,
starting Oct. 6. Course fee is $154.
Television Writing (COM M01-01) demonstrates the
fundamentals of writing for television, including format and dialogue.
All genres will be covered. Eight-week course meets 7:30 – 9:30
p.m., Tuesday, starting Oct. 7. Course fee is $160.
Introduction to Adobe Photoshop (DPR A04-01) presents
the capabilities of this image-editing program. Course is taught in
a Macintosh lab. Eight-week course meets 7 – 9 p.m., Tuesday,
starting Oct. 7. Course fee is $150.
