Interior Decorating on a Budget (HEC B19-01) shows how to creatively
combine colors, furnishings, and accessories. Four-week course meets
7 - 9 p.m., Tuesdays, starting Feb. 22, at Glenbrook South High School,
4000 W. Lake Ave., Glenview. Course fee is $75.
Home Improvement and Repairs for Women (TEC S61-01) is designed
for any beginner who wishes to improve their home improvement skills.
Topics include tool selection, basic repairs, painting, hanging wallpaper,
and supervising contractors. Three-week course meets 7 - 9 p.m., Mondays,
starting Feb. 7, at Niles North High School, 9800 Lawler Ave., Skokie.
Course fee is $60.
Introduction to Home Plumbing (TEC B69-01) covers such topics
as how to fix leaks in toilets, faucets, and pipes. Single-session
course meets 7 - 10 p.m., Monday, Feb. 28, at Maine West High School,
1755 S. Wolf Road, Des Plaines. Course fee is $25.
Plumbing
the Depths (TEC S16-01) teaches how to diagnose plumbing problems
as well as how to connect faucets, toilets, and other water fixtures.
Four-week course meets 7 - 9 p.m., Mondays, starting March 14, at
Maine West High School. Course fee is $69.
