Home Improvement Classes at Oakton
Enhance your bathroom, kitchen, or basement by enrolling in classes offered by the Alliance for Lifelong Learning at Oakton Community College.
Bathroom Remodeling (TEC E89-01) provides tips from a professional who has remodeled more than 200 bathrooms. One-week class meets 7 - 10 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 25, at Niles West High School, 5701 Oakton St., Skokie. Course fee is $25.
That's Italian (Cooking) (HEC S72-01) allows students to create regional Italian dishes that are easy to make, but look like you worked on them all day. Course also covers wine and beverage choices. Four-week class meets Thursdays, 7 - 9 p.m., starting Oct. 27, at Maine East High School, 2601 Dempster St., Park Ridge. Course fee is $85.
Basement Remodeling (TEC S32-01) can bring your dream basement project to life with help from an experienced contractor. Three-week course meets Mondays, 7 - 9 p.m., starting Nov. 7, at Niles North High School, 9800 Lawler Ave., Skokie. Course fee is $60.
