William A. Hammond: Civil War Surgeon (HIS T81-01) stars
historical dramatist R.J. Lindsey in a presentation about Civil War
medicine. Course meets 7 - 8 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 10, at Maine West
High School, 1755 S. Wolf Road, Des Plaines. Course fee is $19.
Selling
Your Photographs (ART E16-01) looks at the contemporary photography
market, including who buys photography and how to sell your work.
Course meets 7 - 9:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 11, at Niles West High
School, 5701 Oakton St., Skokie. Course fee is $29.
Nature
Photography (ART E19-01) takes students outdoors to develop
their own expressions of nature. Students should provide their own
cameras. Course meets 9 a.m. - 3 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 13, at Oakton's
Des Plaines campus, 1600 E. Golf Road. Course fee is $69.
