Register for Online Courses at Oakton

Enhance professional and personal skills by enrolling in online courses offered through the Alliance for Lifelong Learning at Oakton Community College.

Featured courses require e-mail and Internet access using Firefox, Netscape, or Internet Explorer. These online classes run May 21 - July 11. The fee for each course is $84.

Start Your Own eBay Drop-Off Store (BUB E22-330) shows how to turn other people's "stuff" into a lucrative source of income. Develop your own eBay drop-off store! Learn how to write a marketing plan, create dynamic listings, and offer great customer service.

Real Estate Investing (REL E07-330) explores how to find, finance, and negotiate a real estate deal. Course also covers lease options, foreclosures, quick flips, and mobile homes. Create a specific game plan tailored to your individual investing goals.

Survival Kit for New Teachers (TCR B01-330) provides new educators with proven tools, tips, and tricks to make a successful transition to the classroom.

Introduction to Teaching ESL/EFL (TCR A03-330) offers ideas for teaching vocabulary, grammar, reading, and writing. Students also learn how to design fair and accurate tests. Upon successful completion, students will receive a TESOL Certificate of Completion.
