Register for Online Courses at Oakton

Improve professional skills without leaving the comfort of home in online courses offered through the Alliance for Lifelong Learning at Oakton Community College.

All online courses require e-mail and Internet access using Netscape, Internet Explorer, or Firefox Web browsers. Featured classes cost $89 each and run from Wednesday, Oct. 15 through Friday, Dec. 5.

Accounting Fundamentals I (ACC A08-303) offers an overview of accounting basics. Increase your financial awareness while gaining a marketable skill.

Medical Terminology: A Word Association Approach (MED E01-303) offers a memorable and enjoyable way to learn technical vocabulary used in the health care industry.

Introduction to Business Analysis
(BUS A16-303) teaches analytical skills that will help you make better and more informed decisions. Course requires proficiency in basic algebra.

Distribution and Logistics Management (BUS A17-303) covers warehouse selection, material handling, packing and order fulfillment, and physical distribution.

Start Your Own Small Business (BUB A26-303) can help you achieve your dream of starting a business. Topics include start-up options, proven marketing techniques, financing, and practical management tips.
