Egg Art (Pysanka, Ukrainian Egg Decorating) (ART S65-01) shows
how to create exquisite and delicate designs for decorative eggs.
A $12 materials fee is due at the first class session. Four-week course
meets 7 - 9 p.m., Wednesdays, starting Feb. 23, at Maine West High
School, 1755 S. Wolf Road, Des Plaines. Course fee is $50.
Basic
Blues Harmonica (MUS C14-01) presents a fun and easy way to learn
a new instrument and jam with friends. Bring a 10-hole harmonica in
the key of C to class or purchase one for $8 at the first session.
Two-week course meets 2 - 4 p.m., Tuesdays, starting March 8, at Oakton's
Ray Hartstein Campus, 7701 N. Lincoln Ave., Skokie. Course fee is
$70.
Succeed
with Orchids (ORN S11-01) demonstrates the ideal conditions to
make these exotic and popular plants thrive in your home. One-week
course meets 7 - 10 p.m., Monday, March 7, at Niles North High School,
9800 Lawler Ave., Skokie. Course fee is $19.
Golf
(PED S02-01, PED S02-02) teaches the fundamentals of the game - grip,
stance, and swing. Two-seven week sessions are available at the Golf
Center, 353 N. River Road, Des Plaines: Tuesdays, 7 - 8 p.m. or 8
- 9 p.m., starting March 8. Course fee is $175.
Blooming Orchids: Growing to the Next Level (ORN S12-01) provides
expert advice from a former president of the Illinois Orchid Society.
One-week session meets 7 - 10 p.m., Monday, March 21, at Niles North
High School. Course fee is $19.
