Registration Continues for Oakton ALL Classes

Students still have the opportunity to take classes this semester with courses offered by Oakton's Alliance for Lifelong Learning (ALL). Registration is now open for classes starting in March.

A new course, Designing Your Career Path - Personal Assessment (BUB E20-01, Touch-Tone 08721), teaches students how to develop and self-manage their careers. This three-week course meets from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Tuesdays, beginning March 4, at Glenbrook North High School, 2300 Shermer Road. The course fee is $65.

Chocolate Creations (HEC C30-01, Touch-Tone 08685) shows students how to create delicious chocolate desserts, from peanut butter cups to pixies. The class meets from 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, March 11, and Thursday, March 13, at Maine East High School, 2601 W. Dempster St., Park Ridge. The course fee is $39.

Public Relations II (MAR A08-01, Touch-Tone 08613) explores the expanded role of today's PR professional. This eight-week class meets from 6 to 10 p.m. Tuesdays, beginning March 18, at the Des Plaines campus. The course fee is $162.

Other courses beginning in March include CAD II (DES A07), Introduction to Networking (INT A01), A+ Certification Preparation (ECT A06), Understanding Wall Street (FIN E06), and Interior Decorating on a Budget (HEC B19).

Students who have registered for ALL classes within the last five years or a credit course within the last three years may register by using the Touch-Tone system at 847-635-1616 or by fax at 847-635-1448. Both methods require credit card payment (Visa, MasterCard, or Discover).
