Food
Safety Refresher Course (BUS R99-02) satisfies the Illinois
Department of Public Health requirement for five hours of continuing
food safety education to renew the state sanitation certificate. Course
meets 9 a.m. - 3 p.m., Saturday, April 5, at Westfield Old Orchard,
34 Old Orchard Center, Suite E34, Skokie. Course fee is $80.
Food
Service Sanitation Supervision (BUS A50-02) prepares students
for the certification examination required by IDPH. Seven-week course
meets 6 - 8:30 p.m., Monday, starting April 7, at Westfield Old Orchard.
Course fee is $187.
Drawing
Studio: Level I (ART B02-02) allows students to experiment
with pencil, charcoal, crayon, pen, and brush drawings. Seven-week
course meets 7 - 10 p.m., Monday, starting April 7, at Niles North
High School, 9800 Lawler Ave., Skokie. Course is $137.
Wearable
Art: Paint A Silk Scarf (ART C97-01) teaches techniques that
allow participants to create a work of wearable art - just in time
for Mother's Day! Students must supply their own thick towel (one
that can be painted on), hand-held blow dryer, and iron. All other
materials are covered by tuition. Session meets 7 - 9:30 p.m., Monday,
April 7, at Maine West High School, 1755 S. Wolf Road, Des Plaines.
Course fee is $45.
