FRENCH LANDSCAPE ARTIST COMES "FULL CIRCLE" AT OAKTON

Artist Didier Nolet's landscapes have been exhibited in galleries and museums across the U.S. and France. The French native now calls Chicago his home and beginning Dec. 6, Nolet's works entitled, "Full Circle" will be on display at the Oakton's William A. Koehnline Gallery, 1600 East Golf Road, Des Plaines.

"Full Circle" reflects a blending of the artist's childhood memories in France and his life in the U.S. during the past 20 years. Known for their dreamy quality, Nolet's landscapes not only capture actual sites, but emotional memories of light.

The exhibition open with a reception from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 6, and continues through Jan. 25, 2002. The Koehnline Gallery is open from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Friday; and from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday.
