European-U.S. relations through the medium of films by directors including
Jean-Pierre Melville, Jean-Luc Godard, and Lars von Trier. One-week

Kushner: Radical Pragmatist (HUM B35-91) discusses the works
of this provocative Pulitzer Prize winning playwright including Homeboy/Kabul,
Caroline or Change, and Only We Who Guard the Mystery
Shall Be Unhappy. Four-week course meets Thursdays, 1 - 3 p.m.,
starting Aug. 3, at Oakton's Ray Hartstein Campus. Course fee is $60.
