Oakton Emeritus Program Offers Bridge Classes

Brush up on your card playing skills by enrolling in classes offered through Oakton Community College's Emeritus Program, "for the student who wasn't born yesterday." All featured courses meet at Temple Judea Mizpah, 8610 Niles Center Road, Skokie.

Beginning Bridge (REC S60-61) teaches the basics of this popular card game. Eight-week class meets Mondays, 3 - 5 p.m., starting Oct. 10. Course fee is $130.

Bridge: Declarer and Defender Play Practicum (REC E91-62) provides insight into advanced bridge from a life master. Eight-week course meets Mondays, 12:30 - 2:30 p.m., starting Oct. 10. Course fee is $130.

Oakton's Emeritus Program offers credit and noncredit courses, lectures, seminars, and tours, while providing a chance to share learning experiences with peers age 50 and over.
