Emeritus Program at Oakton Community College. All featured courses
meet at Oakton's Ray Hartstein Campus, 7701 N. Lincoln Ave., Skokie.
As
the World Turns: Global Jewish Life in a Time of Change (ENG E18-71)
considers Jewish life in the former Soviet Union, Prague, and Israel.
This course also explores the efforts of Jewish women to reclaim Jewish
life in the former Soviet Union. Three-week course meets 3 - 4 p.m.
Thursdays, starting May 5. Course fee is $40.
Oakton's
Emeritus Program offers credit and noncredit courses, lectures, seminars,
and tours, while providing a chance to share learning experiences
with peers age 50 and over.
