in classes offered through the Emeritus Program at Oakton Community
College. The following courses meet at Oakton's Ray Hartstein Campus,
7701 N. Lincoln Ave., Skokie.
The
New Yorker (HUM E93-71) analyzes favorite selections
from this sophisticated magazine. A subscription to The New Yorker
is required. Six-week course meets 10 a.m. - 12 p.m., Mondays, starting
Feb. 6. Course fee is $60.
Drawing/Watercolor
(ART C19-71) taps into your creative spirit by teaching new
drawing and watercolor techniques. Six-week course meets 10 a.m. -
12 p.m., Mondays, starting Feb. 6. Course fee is $110.
Oakton's
Emeritus Program offers credit and noncredit courses, lectures, seminars,
and tours, while providing a chance to share learning experiences
with peers age 50 and over.
