Enroll in Oakton Emeritus Courses

Increase your literary knowledge or tap into your creativity by enrolling in classes offered through the Emeritus Program at Oakton Community College. The following courses meet at Oakton's Ray Hartstein Campus, 7701 N. Lincoln Ave., Skokie.

The New Yorker (HUM E93-71) analyzes favorite selections from this sophisticated magazine. A subscription to The New Yorker is required. Six-week course meets 10 a.m. - 12 p.m., Mondays, starting Feb. 6. Course fee is $60.

Drawing/Watercolor (ART C19-71) taps into your creative spirit by teaching new drawing and watercolor techniques. Six-week course meets 10 a.m. - 12 p.m., Mondays, starting Feb. 6. Course fee is $110.

Oakton's Emeritus Program offers credit and noncredit courses, lectures, seminars, and tours, while providing a chance to share learning experiences with peers age 50 and over.
