Oakton Emeritus Examines Religion, Foreign Affairs

Expand your knowledge of religion and global current affairs by enrolling in Emeritus Program courses at Oakton Community College. All featured courses meet at Oakton's Ray Hartstein Campus, 7701 N. Lincoln Ave., Skokie.

Judaism (SOC P27-71) includes a discussion and visits to Temple Jeremiah in Northfield and Chicago's Loop Synagogue. One week seminar meets 9:30 a.m. - 3 p.m., Wednesday, April 26. Course fee is $43, which includes a kosher box lunch.

Egypt Today (HUM S83-43) examines Egypt's current political, social, and economic climate. One-week lecture meets 1 - 2:15 p.m., Wednesday, April 26. Course fee is $25.

Oakton's Emeritus Program offers credit and noncredit courses, lectures, seminars, and tours, while providing a chance to share learning experiences with peers age 50 and over.
