and fitness are among the course topics offered by the Emeritus Program
at Oakton Community College starting in March. Featured courses meet
at Oakton's Skokie campus, 7701 N. Lincoln Ave.
Life
is a Pilgrimage (PSY C43-71) attempts to understand the important
life experiences we all share. Class is led by Dorothy Doherty, a
licensed clinical social worker and counselor. Four-week course meets
11 a.m. - 1 p.m., Monday, starting March 3. Course fee is $60.
Tai
Chi (PED E30-72) teaches peaceful exercise techniques best
practiced in loose, comfortable clothing. Six-week course meets 1:15
- 2:15 p.m., Monday, starting March 3. Course fee is $72.
