Oakton Emeritus Program Offers New Courses
Enroll in new courses offered by the Emeritus Program at Oakton Community College starting in April. Featured courses meet at Oakton's Skokie campus, 7701 N. Lincoln Ave.
Alexander the Great - Heir to Troy (HIS T89-71) discusses how the student of Aristotle profoundly changed the world. Four-week course meets 2:45 - 4:15 p.m., Tuesday, starting April 8. Course fee is $50.
Spiritual Fitness (PHL E77-71) explores Buddhist teachings to strengthen mindfulness, broaden awareness, and increase mental flexibility. Course is taught by a Buddhist minister. Six-week class meets 10 - 11:30 a.m., Monday, starting April 14. Course fee is $80.
