Oakton Emeritus Offers Film and Art Appreciation Courses

Enroll in film or art appreciation courses offered by the Emeritus Program at Oakton Community College starting in April. Featured courses meet at Oakton's Skokie campus, 7701 N. Lincoln Ave.

Jane Austen: From Golden Page to Silver Screen, Part II (HUM C07-01) is a weekly film fest based on novels by Jane Austen. Films to be screened and discussed include Sense and Sensibility, Persuasion, Mansfield Park, and Northanger Abbey. Five-week course meets 12:45 - 3:45 p.m., Monday, starting April 21. Course fee is $70.

Artists and Architects of Millennium Park (ART H02-71) introduces some of the architectural forces responsible for Millennium Park, one of the most popular destinations in Chicago. Course meets 1 - 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 23. Course fee is $20.
